У селі Шамраївка, на Київщині, селяни зруйнували старовинну комору водяного млина, мотивуючи це тим, що комора не включена у Державний реєстр пам’яток – мовляв, це, згідно із Законом, не пам’ятка, а просто непотрібна стара будівля. Селяни зняли шифер із даху і вирвали металеву браму. Не завжди, але в багатьох випадках отак і руйнуються пам’ятки.
